Some pieces are designed to look new. This one was designed to feel remembered.
The Grandma Vintage Faux Fur Jacket began with the feeling of an inherited garment — the kind of jacket that has lived in a wardrobe, gathered stories, and somehow still feels entirely right years later.
I wanted it to carry the generosity of a grandmother’s jacket: oversized through the chest and shoulders, relaxed in the way it sits on the body, but shaped at the waist with a soft peplum that brings the silhouette back into focus. It is generous without becoming shapeless. Familiar, but considered.
Brown, but never only brown
The colour is part of what makes it feel vintage. The jacket moves between brown, caramel, chestnut, and warm gold depending on the light. In one room it reads deep and grounded; in another, the golden tones come forward. It changes subtly as you move through the day, which is exactly what I wanted from it.
Made to be worn as if it was already yours
The four-button front keeps the piece classic, while the full faux-fur texture gives it presence. The point was never to create a costume or a literal reproduction of a vintage coat. It was to create the feeling of finding the best jacket in your grandmother’s wardrobe — then wearing it in your own language.
This is why I call it the Grandma Vintage Faux Fur Jacket. Not because it belongs to the past, but because it carries the ease, character, and permanence of something worth inheriting.
Wear it oversized. Let the waist find you.
