The result is two brands that reflect exactly who she is: precise and considered, dramatic when the hour calls for it, and never willing to choose between function and beauty.
2016
How She
Wears It
It started with a feathered cardigan and a Snapchat story. In late 2016, Dr. Maram posted a piece she had made — not to sell, not to build a brand, but simply to dress through a second pregnancy that arrived right after her first. The response was immediate. Messages flooded in. People wanted it.
What began without intention became How She Wears It — a curated line of evening and after-hours pieces for the woman who arrives in a room and stays. Dark. Deliberate. Unapologetically feminine.
2026
Forge
Since her undergraduate years — through residency, through years of clinical practice as a specialist — Dr. Maram had the same problem. The lab coat never elevated a look. Scrubs were never the answer. Infection control meant no jewellery, no accessories, no shortcuts. And leaving work meant either being late or cancelling plans entirely.
The solution she had been building in her mind for years: clothing precise enough for the operating environment, refined enough to walk straight into an evening without a second thought. Forge is that wardrobe — launching late May, early June 2026.
The idea was there for ages. Now it comes to life.
