This page outlines how payments are handled at HSW. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept major credit and debit cards and any additional payment methods displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and our approved third-party payment providers. HSW does not store your full card details.
Payment Authorization
By placing an order, you confirm that the payment method used is your own or that you are authorized to use it. Your order is confirmed and enters our production queue only once payment has been successfully authorized and received in full.
Currency
Prices are listed in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) unless otherwise stated. If you are shopping from outside Kuwait, your bank or card provider may convert the charge to your local currency at their prevailing exchange rate; HSW is not responsible for conversion rates or foreign transaction fees applied by your bank.
Fraud Review
To protect our customers and our business, orders may be subject to a fraud and payment verification review before being confirmed. We reserve the right to request additional identity or payment verification, delay processing, or cancel an order with a full refund where fraud is suspected or verification cannot be completed.
Declined Payments
If a payment is declined, your order will not be confirmed and will not enter production. Please check with your card issuer or try an alternative payment method. HSW is not responsible for delays caused by a declined or failed payment.
Chargebacks
If you have a question or concern about your order, we ask that you contact us directly at concierge@thehsw.co before initiating a chargeback with your bank, so we can work with you toward a resolution. Chargebacks filed for reasons inconsistent with our published Shipping & Returns and Made-to-Order policies — including for made-to-order or customized pieces that are final sale — will be formally disputed, and HSW reserves the right to provide the payment processor with order records, production documentation, and correspondence as evidence.
Taxes
Where applicable, taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping destination. Customs duties and import taxes for international orders are addressed separately in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Partial Refunds
Where a partial refund is issued — for example, to account for return shipping costs, a partial store credit resolution, or a discount applied after purchase — the amount will be returned to your original payment method. Partial refunds are processed within the same timeframe as full refunds, as set out in our Shipping & Returns policy.
